The Udayan Group of Schools celebrated its Annual Day on December 21, 2024, at the Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Auditorium, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Delhi Cantt. Global Pratibha International School and Zigyasa School came together for this grand celebration, showcasing the nation’s vibrant culture and heritage.
The Annual Day was graced by our honourable Chief Guest Mr Nagendre Goyal Sir, Deputy Commissioner KVS and Guest of Honour Mr S.S. Mukhija Sir.
First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our chief guest and guest of honour, who graced the occasion with their presence and motivated the students with their inspiring words. Their presence was a great source of encouragement for all of us.
Following the welcome of guests, the lighting of the lamp took place. The whole event included a variety of meaningful dance dramas and songs performed by students. The school ensured that all students participated, because each child is special and important to us. We believe every child deserves a chance to develop their talents and showcase them through such public performances.
It goes without saying that a programme of this magnitude requires meticulous planning, coordination, and execution with precision. There is no doubt that there has been an outpouring of appreciation and praise from all quarters, including the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, dignitaries, and parents attending the function.
The aim of the event was to celebrate India’s cultural diversity and promote unity through the theme “Unity in Diversity.” The event aimed to foster national integration and appreciation for India’s rich heritage. It also encouraged academic excellence by recognizing top performers in the National Practice Test. Overall, the celebration strengthened the bond among students, educators, and the community.
The entire purpose of having an Annual Day at school is to encourage harmonious relationships between parents and their children, allowing them to appreciate and enjoy their children's talents.
I would like to thank our devoted teachers, who worked day and night to develop the theme, finalize scripts, set choreographies, and create enthusiasm, taking many initiatives to make the Annual Event a huge success.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the management for their unwavering support and guidance in organizing this event.
Lastly, I would like to thank all the parents and well-wishers who came to support us on this special day. Your presence means a lot to us, and we are grateful for your continued support. We hope to continue this tradition of excellence in the years to come.
Ms Sweety Singh
